Sub-Sahara Advisory Panel (SSAP) is an African Diaspora-led organization based in Cardiff, Wales. It is a network of African diaspora organizations and individuals in Wales who are active is supporting development initiatives in Africa. Our mission is utilize skills and expertise of African diasporas in order to inspire and inform policy and practice which lead to the reduction of poverty and the achievement of sustainable livelihoods in [sub-Saharan] Africa. We do this through development support for diaspora communities, practical policy advice, policy-focused dissemination, campaigning, developing projects and research.
We are seeking to appoint:
Part Time Administrator
(fixed term contract from 1st Septembet to 31st March 2021, subject to Funding)
18hours per week
Based in Cardiff
Salary: £18,000.00 per annum pro rata (Actual Annual Salary for 18hrs is £8,756.76)
SSAP is an expanding charity working with African communities in Wales as well as delivering international development development. The post holder will contribute to the provision of an effective, efficient, and comprehensive Administration Service to support the aims and objectives of the Organisation. You will be responsible for providing Administrative Support for SSAP Director by undertaking core administrative tasks on a day-to-day basis. Administration Support Workers will need to be flexible in order to provide a first class, professional service to include assisting with service delivery reporting, minutes taking for all SSAP meetings which includes Staff meetings, Board Meetings, Project Meetings and Annual General meetings.
